Piping Designer (OMANIS only)

Requirements & Qualifications

Preferred candidate profile
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as Piping Designer and ASB within Oil & Gas industry,
• Diploma in Mechanical or piping / AutoCAD certificate or equivalent
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Familiar with Design and ASB phases and design deliverables
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Functions

Job description: Role & responsibilities
• Responsible for preparing and updating piping layouts, isometric drawings, and general arrangement drawings for OLNG projects using AutoCAD, MicroStation etc. ensuring design integrity and compliance with project/ASB standards. Supporting multi-discipline activities/works. And working on AS built drawings and documents. Uploading approved documents in DMS with tag linking.
• Expertise in AutoCAD (2D/3D) for piping layouts, equipment layouts, and isometric generation and updating.
• Develop/update/review piping layout drawings, isometrics, and support details using AutoCAD and other software e.g. MicroStation etc..
• Understanding of piping materials, specifications, and stress considerations.
• Knowledge of P&IDs, pipe supports, and interface management with other disciplines.
• Knowledge with Isometric drawings and 3D model review (e.g., E3D, PDMS) is an advantage.
