PDO and GlassPoint signed an agreement to build one of the world's largest Solar Plants. GlassPoint Solar Muscat, LLC has awarded a 2 years Engineering Services Contract to TR Engineering Consultancy LLC (TRE). This contract provides a great opportunity for TRE to build up a partnership with GlassPoint world’s leading provider of solar steam generators to the oil and gas industry.
GlassPoint has entered into a contract with PDO to commence the deployment of their unique Solar Steam Generation System and Technology. The first system will be deployed in the Amal field in the south of Oman. This project includes the design and construction of 36 “Blocks” of the GlassPoint Solar Steam Generators; Phase 1 will include the first 4 Blocks commencing with engineering in July 2015 and construction scheduled to complete by the end 2017.
TRE will be responsible to provide engineering services on a call off basis as required by the Client
